CNDT - Conduent Transportation implements innovative passenger counting system on buses in Italy to contain Covid-19
Conduent Transportation, a unit of business process services and solutions company Conduent (CNDT) implements system in Bergamo, Italy, to monitor the maximum number of passengers on buses managed by Azienda Trasporti Bergamo and trams managed by its associated company, Tramvie Elettriche Bergamasche. TThe system will enable ATB and TEB to easily comply with government regulations in place to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.“After the impact of the COVID-19 emergency on the area, the Bergamo community wants to return to normalcy. Public transport is an essential part of this restart. The maximum limit of passengers on board, currently set at 50 percent, allows citizens to travel in compliance with required health regulations.
