ROAD - Construction Partners acquires asphalt sitework operational assets of GAC Contractors

Construction Partners (NASDAQ:ROAD) acquired the asphalt, grading and sitework operational assets of GAC Contractors, including its hot-mix asphalt plant in Panama City, Florida. "Today's transaction represents our third acquisition in the Florida panhandle in the past 2 years. The addition of GAC's assets and crews meaningfully enhances our operational resources and capabilities in an existing growth market," said ROAD CEO Fred Smith, III. Last week, ROAD said it acquired Southern Asphalt, an asphalt paving contractor based in Burgaw, North Carolina.
