TECK - Copper market deficit grew to 75K tons in April ICSG says
Axe_Olga/iStock via Getty Images The global world refined copper market deficit widened to 75K metric tons in April, compared with a 13K mt deficit in March, the International Copper Study Group says in its latest monthly update. The global copper market had a surplus of 69K metric tons in the first four months of the year, compared with a 110K-ton surplus for the same period last year, the ICSG says. World refined copper production totaled 2.07M metric tons in April while consumption was 2.14M mt.
