CAAP - Corporación América Airports June passenger traffic 2.6% more than pre-pandemic levels

• Private airport operator Corporación América Airports ( NYSE: CAAP ) on Monday said total passenger traffic for the month of June increased 32.4% Y/Y.
• The rise in traffic was "supported by the ongoing recovery in travel demand after the Covid-19 pandemic and the gradual resumption of routes and frequencies across all countries of operations," CAAP said in a statement .
• Overall June passenger traffic surpassed pre-pandemic levels in June 2019 by 2.6% for the first time.
• June traffic in Armenia, Ecuador, Argentina and Brazil was above June 2019 levels.
• CAAP said cargo volume for June rose 6.7% Y/Y and stood at 88.8% of June 2019 levels, or 89.8% when adjusting for the discontinuation of operations in Peru.
• Corporación América Airports ( CAAP ) stock earlier closed +1.4% at $13.46.
