CAAP - Corporación América Airports reports increase in June passenger traffic

• Private sector airport operator Corporación América Airports ( NYSE: CAAP ) reported a 147.8% Y/Y increase in passenger traffic in June, which comes to 77.5% of pre-pandemic levels of June 2019.
• The rise was driven by increases across all countries of operations, particularly in Argentina and Italy. The two countries saw higher traffic demand, reflecting the lifting of travel restrictions and the re-opening of borders.
• CAAP also reported an Y/Y increase of 7.5% in the cargo volume, having stood at 83.3% of June 2019 levels. Meanwhile, aircraft movements increased 79.4% Y/Y, reaching 90.5% of June 2019 levels.
