MESA - Corporate airline travel may not snap back as much as anticipated warns BofA
Bank of America says the recovery in corporate travel is still expected in 2022, although there are some doubt about the magnitude. The firm's survey of U.S. business travelers indicated that more respondents are willing to travel if there is a good deal and showed a lower focus on saving than prior surveys. 29% of U.S. business traveler respondents said they would take their next trip in this quarter vs. 22% in the June survey, while another 23% plan for their next trip the first half of 2022 vs. 18% in the June survey. 31% of US travelers strongly disagreed/disagreed that their travel levels will be significantly reduced vs. pre-pandemic while 38% strongly agreed/agreed with that comment.
