MSCI, a provider ofcritical decision support tools and services for the global investmentcommunity, uses a “AAA” to “CCC” ratings scale to measure over8,500 companies according to their exposure to industry-specific andfinancially material ESG risks, and their ability to manage thoserisks relative to peers. MSCI’s ESG ratings reports helpinstitutional investors identify companies’ ESG risks andopportunities.
