CUTR - Cutera to hold special stockholders meeting on June 9

• Aesthetic and dermatology solutions provider Cutera ( NASDAQ: CUTR ) said on Thursday that it will hold a special meeting of stockholders on June 9 to consider a proposal to remove 5 directors.
• The meeting will be held at 9:00 am PT in or near Brisbane, California.
• The proposal was offered by ousted CEO David Mowry and executive chairman Daniel Plants to remove 5 out of the 6 directors. Mowry and Plants had filed a lawsuit against the directors.
• A special committee of the board of directors was formed to consider the special meeting notices provided by Plants and Mowry.
• The special committee is set to provide its recommendation to the stockholders in due course.
• CUTR shares were trading +0.09% post-market.
