TBA - Cybersecurity firm KnowBe4's stock rallies more than 10%
MF3d/E+ via Getty Images Cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 (KNBE) rallied more than 10% Monday in its third straight winning session, rising as a take-private deal for rival Proofpoint (PFPT) moves closer to fruition. KNBE rose to as high as $22.48 intraday Monday, up 13.5% on the session. Shares later pulled back, but were still changing hands at $21.97 shortly before 3:45 p.m. ET, ahead 11% for the day and 18.6% since closing last Wednesday at $18.52. KnowBe4 has been rising amid increasing concerns about ransomware attacks, coupled with progress in a take-out deal for competitor Proofpoint. Proofpoint announced plans Monday to cancel its annual shareholders’ meeting set for Tuesday as stockholders weigh whether to approve a takeover by Thoma Bravo (TBA) in a vote set for June 22.
