Investor meetings in the U.S. Midwest. Noble hosted Cypress management for a series of well-attended investor meetings in Kansas City and St. Louis. Lithium extraction begins in the company's pilot plant with acid leaching a slurry of lithium bearing claystone. Extractions of lithium in leaching is running between 83% and 85% with the direct lithium extraction portion of the plant recovering 99.5% lithium. Cypress delivered concentrated lithium chloride solution from the pilot plant to two laboratories to further treat the solutions to produce high-grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. Results are expected this month.Optimizing the facility layout and design. Cypress completed a sonic drill program to validate the mine plan resource model and a geotechnical program will conclude in August to test the foundations of the tailing facility and plant site. The process flow sheet has been streamlined to optimize efficiency, while the layout of the planned facility has been optimized by relocating the tailing facility further to the margins of the property with the planned 15,000 tonne per day mill moved closer to the pit outline.
