As expected, the European Commission approves Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) unit Janssen Biotech's DARZALEX (daratumumab), combined with Takeda Pharmaceutical's (OTCPK:TKPYY) VELCADE (bortezomib), melphalan and prednisone, for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma in a first-line setting. The advisory group CHMP adopted a positive opinion backing approval in July.
