DPHAY - Dechra Pharmaceuticals jumps 45% after confirming EQT takeover talks

- Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC ( OTCPK:DPHAY ) ADRs soared 45% after the company confirmed it was in talks with EQT in regard to a potential all-cash 4.63 billion pound ($5.8 billion) offer the UK-based veterinary pharmaceuticals firm.
- Dechra ( OTCPK:DPHAY ) said it was in talks over the 4,070 pence per share offer, according to a statement. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority would be a co-investor with EQT.

There can be no certainty that any firm offer will be made for Dechra. A further announcement will be made as appropriate, Dechra said.
