December 14, 2020 – TheNewswire - Vancouver, British Columbia — DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY CORP.  (the“Company”) (TSXV:DME ) , ( OTC:DMEHF ) , ( Frankfurt:QM01) From thePresident of the Company - The Company hasreceived information, not yet confirmed with the City of Flagstaff(“ Flagstaff ” or “thecity ”), that Flagstaff has filed a temporary restraining order (an “ Order ”) against theCompany seeking an evidentiary hearing to stop the further drilling ofany oil and gas wells located on the Company’s land holdingsadjacent to Red Gap Ranch (“ RGR ”).  The Company has not been directlycontacted by the city or received any official notification to date.

In the documents provided to the Company by thirdparties, the city has erroneously suggested that the Company ispotentially engaging in fracking in the area.  The Company deniesthis completely unfounded allegation.  The drilling permits have beenproperly and validly issued, and the Company is in full compliancewith those permits. The Company confirms that,to the best of its information and belief, all work to date in thearea has not had, and cannot possibly have, any impact on the watersupply to Flagstaff or the region and complies with, or exceeds, allexisting State drilling laws and regulations. The Co mpany has repeatedly statedthat its goals are to be as close to net zero carbon emissions aspractical and to be in accordance with producing products required bysaid standards. The Company has contactedlitigation counsel and will be seeking unspecified damages from thecity.
