DBI - Designer Brands names Doug Howe as CEO reaffirms guidance

  • Designer Brands ( NYSE: DBI ) has announced leadership changes, with current president Doug Howe to take over as the company's new CEO, effective April 1, 2023.
  • Howe will succeed Roger Rawlins, who will step down as CEO and as a member of the board of directors. Rawlins has agreed to serve as strategic advisor through March 2024.
  • With Doug and Rawlins' assistance, management will conduct a comprehensive search to identify the next president of Designer Brands ( DBI ).
  • In addition, the firm reaffirmed its financial outlook for fiscal year 2022, expecting comparable sales growth in mid-single digits and diluted EPS in the range of $1.75 - $1.80.
