DOFSQ - Diamond Offshore emerges from Chapter 11

Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc.
Diamond Offshore Drilling (DOFSQ) and its debtor affiliates say they emerged from their Chapter 11 process after successfully completing a financial reorganization pursuant to their joint plan of reorganization.Diamond Offshore says the restructuring provided substantial liquidity, resulting in the equitization of $2.1B in senior unsecured note obligations and providing it with more than $625M of new available capital.The company also says Marc Edwards has retired as Chairman, President and CEO, and currently is in discussions with a potential successor; in the meantime, COO Ronald Woll will serve as interim CEO.
