  • Global shipping company, Diana Shipping ( NYSE: DSX ) has entered into a time charter contract with Reachy Shipping  for one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Astarte.
  • The gross charter rate is $15,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum August 1, 2024 up to maximum October 1, 2024.
  • The charter is expected to commence on April 30, 2023.
  • The employment of “Astarte” is anticipated to generate ~$6.78M of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
