DSX - Diana Shipping signs new time charter contract for m/v Semirio

Diana Shipping (DSX +1.2%) has announced a new time charter contract for its m/v Semirio Capesize dry bulk vessel. The shipping firm entered into a contract with C Transport Maritime to charter the vessel at a gross charter rate of $19,700 per day for a period until minimum August 15, 2023 up to maximum November 15, 2023. The employment is anticipated to generate ~$11.94M of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter. The charter is expected to commence on December 9, 2021. The vessel is currently chartered to SwissMarine at $13,500 per day.
