Vancouver, BC – TheNewswire - July 28, 2025– Global Stocks News - Sponsored content disseminated on behalf ofDolly Varden Silver. On July 24, 2025 Dolly Varden Silver (TSXV: DV)(NYSE American: DVS) (FSE: DVQ) announced that it has increased the previously announced 35,000-meter drillprogram to 55,000 meters .
"With the strong support of our shareholders in the recentlycompleted financing, Dolly Varden is well positioned to significantly expand its explorationdrilling based on a strong start to the season, enabling us totest key exploration targets and continue expanding the high-grade silver zone at the WolfVein ," states Shawn Khunkhun, president and CEO of DollyVarden Silver.
The announcement of the drill program expansion caps a year ofaggressive drilling, growth and acquisitions.

“Our progress in 2025 is the culmination of five years hard work byour team,” Khunkhun told Guy Bennett, CEO of Global Stocks News(GSN). “In that time span, we've gone from two past-producinghistorical mines to five, we’ve drilled 141,000 meters withconsistent high-grade silver and gold hits, our land package has gonefrom 7,000 hectares to 100,000 (+1,400%), and our marketcapitalisation has moved from $20 million to $440 million (+2,200%).
“We are in a rising silver price environment, but there is still adisparity between commodity prices and the junior mining equities,”continued Khunkhun. “The companies we're acquiring assets from arenot at their strongest positions, yet Dolly Varden Silver, on arelative basis, has currency. We're using our shares, preserving ourcash.”
Drilling will prioritize the Wolfvein extension , where DV continues to intersect mineralizationon step outs and infilldrilling, as well as testingmultiple silver, gold and copper exploration targets at the KitsaultValley and Big Bulk Projects .
This summer, DV has already completed 17,000 meters, testing priorityexploration targets at the Moose, Chance and Red Point Prospects.
Additionally, DV is drilling systematic step-outs at the Wolf Vein.Alteration and structural studies suggest that vein mineralization atWolf is becoming increasingly robust towards the southwest.
“We have added drilling meters at Wolf,” Rob van Egmond, VP ofExploration told GSN. “We’re going to continue to step out atWolf, past what we had planned. This is an important prioritybecause we are continuing to hit as we move down. We have a bank oftargets that we want to get to.”
A fifth drill rig has been mobilized to the Project.
July 2025 Drilling Summary:
Two drills remain on Wolf vein directional drilling ,testing down plunge and stepping out in search of the mid-valleystructural intercept.
Two drills are currently atthe Homestake Silver deposit after completing several exploration holes at Red Point, Chance andthe Moose Vein.
One drill is turning at the Big Bulk copper-gold porphyry system located 10 kilometers east of the Torbrit silver deposit.
The Big Bulk porphyry was discovered in the early 1900s. It isprospective for both copper-gold porphyry and skarn-stylemineralization, analogous to nearby Red Mountain and KSM deposits.
In the Golden Triangle, porphyry systems can represent metallogenicfeeders to high-grade vein systems.
“Metallogenic feeders’ is a technical phrase that means, ‘fluidsthat carry metal’” van Egmond told GSN. “These feeders can beup to 10 kilometers away from the big porphyries.”
“This is the first time that Dolly Varden has drilled Big Bulk,”van Egmond continued. “We have three drill holes planned of 1,000meters each. Big Bulk has never been drilled deeper than about 400meters. Airborne geophysics revealed a large resistivity andchargeability anomaly at depth. We're going to test that target.”
By shifting the focus from total meterage to strategically placedintercepts, Dolly Varden is executing a more precise and sustainabledrilling strategy. The directionaldrilling has allowed DV to decrease total meters drilled by utilizing the same mother holenumerous times .
The 55,000 meters is estimated using the total length of each drillhole as if each hole started from surface. Since the total meterageestimate includes those “re-drilled” mother hole lengths actual meters of newcore will be in the order of 41,000 meters, thus achieving the samenumber of mineralized intercepts while drilling significantly fewermeters at Wolf and Homestake Silver.
“Mining companies use directional drilling when they want to reduce the total number of drilledmeters for a multi-target drilling program,” confirms DV drill contractor Aziwell . “It ishighly efficient and precise.”
“At Big Bulk, we’re going to do a cut at about 600 meters,” vanEgmond told GSN. “We take a little nick out of the side of the hole, then pull out and keep drilling. This is preparation for potentialdirectional drilling at a later date. If we hit something deeper down,we can peel off at that cut point.
“If we decide we need denser spacing at Big Bulk, then the cut isthere, saving us that first 600 meters of drilling,” stated vanEgmond. “That cut can then become the next mother hole.”
In addition to the drilling increase, DV is intensifying geologicalfield work, including mapping and sampling of underexplored areas onthe recently consolidated claim packages, now totalling 100,000 Ha ofprospective Hazelton formation rocks. This work will develop drilltargets for late 2025 and 2026 exploration programs.
