DLTH - Duluth Holdings updates on holiday sales at ICR Conference

Duluth Holdings Inc. ( NASDAQ: DLTH ) updated guidance ahead of an appearance by the retailer at the ICR Conference.

For the nine-week period, Duluth Holdings ( DLTH ) reported holiday period sales of $198.2M compared to $224.3M a year ago. Direct net sales were $127.0M vs.  $145.3M a year ago. Retail net sales were $71.2M vs. $79.0M a year ago.

CEO Sam Sato pointed to  AKHG brand sales growth of high single digits for the 9-week holiday selling period and said the retailer expects to achieve the low end of Q4 sales guidance.

"For the year, we anticipate our Women’s business to outperform relative to the total company sales results giving us confidence the investments we have made in product innovation and great brand marketing has cemented Duluth Trading Company as a co-gender lifestyle brand."
