EBIX - Ebix signs up Aspida Life for annuity platform consulting services

• Ebix ( NASDAQ: EBIX ) said Friday Aspida Life Insurance, a life insurance and annuity company, will use Ebix's AnnuityNet platform to increase distribution within the banking channel and and its Consulting Division for overall project delivery and DTCC workflow.
• The Aspida partnership brings the number of carriers on Ebix's ( EBIX ) Annuity Exchange to over 55 and number of distributors to over 100.
• Ebix's ( EBIX ) AnnuityNet4 is an order-entry product that's designed to increase efficiency and reduce compliance risk, while its Consulting Division offers a range of services, including market entry advisory, platform roadmaps, product setup, testing, integration, and ongoing support services.
• Still, EBIX stock is down 3.0% in Friday late morning trading.
• Earlier this month, Ebix ( EBIX ) posted Q2 results that were hurt by forex headwinds
