SOLO - ElectraMeccanica offers vehicle repurchase for full price paid as remedy for recall

• ElectraMeccanica Vehicles ( NASDAQ: SOLO ) on Friday said that as a remedy for its previously announced recall of more than 400 vehicles, the company was offering repurchase for the full price paid including taxes, fees and shipping.
• SOLO in February had said it would voluntarily recall around 428 G3 vehicles, model years 2021 to 2023, citing a propulsion issue. That number was bumped up to 429 in Friday's update.
• "ElectraMeccanica will work directly with customers to complete the vehicle repurchase process, free of charge. Reservation holders will be issued a refund," SOLO said in a statement .
• Shares of ElectraMeccanica ( SOLO ) were marginally lower by 0.8% to $0.59 after hours.
