SOLO - ElectraMeccanica Vehicles names new CFO and Compliance Chief

• ElectraMeccanica Vehicles ( NASDAQ: SOLO ) announced Tuesday the management change where Mark Orsmond has been named as company's new chief financial officer, effective immediately.
• Orsmond is noted as a seasoned finance and corporate development executive who has held CFO roles at engineering and technology-driven companies. Most recently, Orsmond has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Taiga Motors.
• The electric vehicle manufacturer has also announced the appointment of Bal Bhullar to the newly-created role of chief compliance officer, and Tony Dent, a seasoned legal professional, as general counsel of the company. Dent comes to ElectraMeccanica most recently from Harley-Davidson.
• SOLO shares are up 2% in early trading session on Wednesday.
