Element79 Gold recently closed the acquisition of two past-producing high-grade gold-silver mines in Peru, including the Lucero Mine, one of the highest-grade underground mines to be commercially mined in Peru's history, and the Machala Mine. Operations were suspended at Machala in 1991 and Lucero in 2005 due to low gold and silver prices.
