EBR - Eletrobras CEO Ferreira resigns after less than a year; succeeded by Monteiro

Eletrobras ( NYSE: EBR ) said late Monday that CEO Wilson Ferreira Jr. has resigned , to be succeeded by Chairman and former Petrobras president Ivan Monteiro; no reason was given for the departure.
Ferreira had led the company for less than a year, arriving in September 2022; he had served previously as Eletrobras' ( EBR ) CEO during 2016-21.
Vicente Falconi Campos will replace Monteiro as Chairman.
