JNJ - Emergent executives to testify before House coronavirus panel next week

Emergent BioSolutions (EBS) executives are set to testify before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus on May 11.The beleaguered company is trying to recover from a series of setbacks related to its contract manufacture of COVID-19 vaccine for Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).The meeting will focus on manufacturing issues at its Baltimore plant as well as whether the company used its connections with a former administration official to profit from the vaccine contracts.Emergent shares are up 1.2% to $59.48 in morning trading.
