Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire - January 2, 2024 -- Emergent Metals Corp.("Emergent" or the “Company”) (TSXV:EMR) (OTC: EGMCF) announces that it has appointed GrantT. Smith. CPA, CA, C. Dir., as Chief Financial Officer and Director ofthe Company effective January 1, 2024.  Mr. Smith  is a CharteredProfessional Accountant with over two decades of experience in theaccounting field.  He holds a BFA (1984) from York University andreceived his CPA designation in 2006.  He has completed the CharteredDirector Program from McMaster University (2020).  Mr. Smith waspreviously the Chief Financial Officer of the Company from October2012 to July 2018.  He was a Managing Partner of Clearline CharteredAccountants from 2006 to 2019 and since that time has worked as theExecutive Director of Clarity NPO, a consulting firm that providesfinancial services to non-for-profit organizations.  Mr. Smith hasserved as CFO for several junior mining companies.

Mr. Smith replaces Robert Rosner as CFO, who hasresigned due to other commitments.    The Company would like tothank Mr. Rosner for his services over the last five years.
