Encompass Health (EHC) has placed land under contract to build a freestanding, 50–bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Lake Worth, Florida.The hospital, to be named Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake Worth, is expected to begin serving patients in 2024.Encompass has currently announced eight other hospitals in Florida that are scheduled to open in 2022 and 2023.The company had announced plans for a separate 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, earlier this week.
