EXK - Endeavour Silver hits highest quarterly production in two years

Endeavour Silver (EXK) +2.1% pre-market after reporting its highest quarterly production result over the last two years from its three underground silver-gold mines in Mexico, totaling 1.2M silver oz. and 12.5K gold oz. for 2.1M silver equiv. oz.Endeavour says Q4 production rose from a year earlier due to continued operational improvements at the Guanacevi and Bolañitos mines, where throughput increased 15% and 31% Y/Y, respectively.The company says its full-year production met its original guidance despite the government mandated two-month suspension of operations due to the pandemic, totaling 3.5M silver oz. and 37.1K gold oz. for 6.5M silver equiv. oz.While Endeavour continues to see a solid turnaround at Bolanitos and Guanacevi, shares are now trading at 24x FY 2021 annual EPS estimates, "lofty valuation for a sector laggard," Taylor Dart writes in a newly published analysis on Seeking Alpha.
