DENVER, Colo., Oct 13, 2025 ( 247marketnews.com )- In a strategic pivot that blends biotech innovation with digital finance, ENDRA Life Sciences (NASDAQ:NDRA) announced a private placement of up to $14.4 million aimed at launching a digital asset treasury (DAT) strategy. The move, led by institutional and cryptocurrency investors, represents a significant shift in capital allocation for the imaging tech company, best known for its work in metabolic liver disease diagnostics.

The initial raise of $4.9 million will fund the acquisition of high-conviction digital assets, with guidance from Arca Investment Management. ENDRA’s new DAT strategy will focus on assets in decentralized finance (DeFi), including exposure to protocols and perpetual futures like HYPE. The company is also looking to deploy advanced techniques such as staking, options overlays, and DeFi participation to optimize returns.

The financing includes the sale of 744,340 shares of common stock (or pre-funded warrants) with accompanying warrants to purchase up to 1,488,680 shares, exercisable at $6.32 per share. Shares were priced at $6.57 per unit, and if fully exercised, the deal could bring total proceeds to $14.4 million. A portion of the funds will also support ENDRA’s ongoing TAEUS pilot validation study, targeting MASLD/MASH.

To support its foray into digital assets, ENDRA also plans to appoint Jeff Dorman, Chief Investment Officer at Arca, to its Digital Asset Advisory Board. Dorman, a seasoned investor with a background at Citadel and Merrill Lynch, is expected to bring rigorous risk management and portfolio construction discipline to ENDRA’s new initiative.

ENDRA CEO Alexander Tokman called the digital asset strategy a “logical extension” of the company’s capital plan, aiming to “generate durable yield” and unlock long-term value. Dorman echoed the sentiment, highlighting the potential to diversify ENDRA’s balance sheet and reduce volatility through active digital asset management.
