- Enel SpA press release ( OTCPK:ENLAY ): Q1 GAAP EPS of €0.10.
- Revenue of €26.41B (-22.6% Y/Y).
- Ordinary EBITDA: €5,463 million (€4,486 million in the first quarter of 2022, +21.8%).
- EBITDA: €4,765 million (€4,5491 million in the first quarter of 2022, +4.7%).
- OUTLOOK: The Group’s Strategic Plan for 2023-2025, presented to the financial community in November 2022, outlines a strategy based on simplification and focus on geographies that allow to fully seize the opportunities related to the energy transition.
- Group ordinary EBITDA is expected to reach 22.2- 22.8 billion euros in 2025, compared to 19.7 billion euros in 2022. The Group’s net ordinary income is expected to increase to 7.0-7.2 billion euros in 2025, compared to 5.4 billion euros in 2022. Enel’s dividend policy remains simple and predictable, with a dividend per share ( DPS ) of 0.43 euros in the 2023-2025 period, up from 0.40 euros in 2022. In addition, the DPS in 2024 and 2025 is to be considered a sustainable minimum.
- In light of the solid performance in the first quarter, the guidance provided to the financial markets at the presentation of the Strategic Plan for 2023-2025 in November 2022 is confirmed: in 2023, the Group forecasts ordinary EBITDA between 20.4 and 21.0 billion euros, net ordinary income between 6.1 and 6.3 billion euros and net financial debt between 51 and 52 billion euros.
