  • Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  • Caring Hearts Hospice is a locally owned and operated hospice agency based in Texas.
  • "Effective Oct. 1, 2022, this acquisition adds four hospice locations to Enhabit’s existing presence in Texas, allowing Enhabit to expand its nationwide footprint," the company said in a statement .
  • EHAB stock earlier closed -2.4% at $13.71.
