E - Eni eyes Pakistan asset sale in portfolio rethink - Reuters
Eni ([[E]] -0.9%) is looking to sell assets in Pakistan as part of moves to refocus its oil and gas portfolio following a strategic shift this year, Reuters reports. The company is said to be sounding out potential buyers for a series of oil and gas assets in the country and could have a deal in place before the end of Q1.The assets Eni seeks to sell include its main producing permits at Bhit, Badhra and Kadanwari, in Sindh province, but likely will exclude its solar power business in the area, according to the report.Eni "surprisingly manages to generate positive free cash flow so should be able to maintain its dividend," Power Hedge writes in an analysis published recently on Seeking Alpha.
