ESV - Ensco: Expectations For 2019

We continue discussing perspectives of offshore drilling stocks in 2019. Prior articles were devoted to general market outlook, Diamond Offshore (DO), Transocean (RIG), Noble Corp. (NE) and Rowan (RDC). This time, we’ll look at Ensco (ESV).

Company’s current position

Currently, Ensco has 59 rigs: 12 drillships, 12 semi-subs and 35 jack-ups. In the drillship segment, 5 rigs are drilling (Ensco DS-4, Ensco DS-7, Ensco DS-8, Ensco DS-9, Ensco DS-10), 3 are warm stacked (Ensco DS-6, Ensco DS-11, Ensco DS-12) 2 are cold stacked (Ensco
