Introduction
Ensco PLC (ESV) is one of our long-term investments in the offshore drilling sector with Transocean (RIG). The most significant difference between Transocean and Ensco is that the latter owns a well-diversified fleet with an emphasis on the jack-ups' part with about 59 rigs (36 Jack-ups) in total comprised of some of the highest-specification and most modern drillships and jack-ups in the industry.
