Enstar Group (ESGR) signs an agreement with CNA's (CNA) Continental Casualty Company to reinsure a legacy portfolio of excess workers' compensation business.Enstar's subsidiary will assume net insurance reserves of ~$690M, relating to 2007 and prior year business under a retroactive reinsurance agreement with an aggregate limit of $1B.CNA expects to recognize an after-tax loss of ~$12M from the transaction, which is expected to close in Q1 2021.
