FUJIY - Entegris sells electronic chemicals business to Fujifilm for $700M

• Fujifilm ( OTCPK:FUJIY ) to acquire Entegris’ ( NASDAQ: ENTG ) Electronic Chemicals business for $700M.
• The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2023.
• The electronic chemicals business provides highly specialized chemicals to the semiconductor industry.
• As part of Entegris’ Advanced Planarization Solutions division, it was acquired with the acquisition of CMC Materials in July 2022.
• The segment has proforma sales of ~$360M.
• The transaction will help ENTG focus better on its core business.
