The market for enterprise wireless local area network equipment is set for some steady growth after enduring a "rocky" 2020, CFRA says as it looks ahead to the trends setting up success. It was a vastly different story last year, the firm's Keith Snyder notes, when COVID-19 disrupted the enterprise WLAN market as companies delayed their equipment investments, while the consumer market flourished as work-from-homers bought equipment to enable productivity. Enterprises worldwide had to rapidly adjust networks from campus investments to ensuring secure and productive digital work environments for their remote workers. "This included increasing the use of automation tools, a heavier reliance on unified communications and collaboration platforms, and increased usage of cloud-based applications," Snyder notes.
