ETRN - Equitrans wins positive FERC EIS for Ohio Valley Connector expansion

Equitrans Midstream ( NYSE: ETRN ) has received a final environmental impact statement for its 350M cf/day Ohio Valley Connector expansion project, the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said Tuesday, as approval with recommended mitigation measures would not result in significant adverse impacts.

FERC staff concluded that most adverse environmental impacts would be temporary or short-term during construction and have minimal effects on existing land use.

The planned expansion would increase natural gas deliveries from central Appalachian basin producers to Mid-continent and Gulf Coast destinations.

Equitrans Midstream's ( ETRN ) valuation "is not too cheap" and there's high uncertainty regarding how the Mountain Valley Pipeline plays out, Mike Zaccardi writes in an analysis published on Seeking Alpha .
