The number of people registering as jobless in Spain rose by 39,936, or 1.4%, to 2.76 million in October 2023, the lowest level for this month since 2007.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 ( STOXX ) rose 0.3% on Friday led by autos stocks. Markets good a boost from a series of solid earnings and a perceived dovish tilt by central banks.
Coming up in the session: Euro Area and Canada unemployment rate, U.S. non farm payrolls and S&P Global Composite PMI.
In the bond market, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was up less than 1 basis points at 4.67%.
Germany's 10-year yield was up 1 basis points to 2.72%.
U.K.'s 10-year yield was down less than 1 basis points to 4.38%.
