The pan-European Stoxx 600 edged +0.23% higher, during early hours with most sectors making marginal gains. Household goods and mining stocks were up, while chemicals shed.

Coming up in the session: Eurogroup meetings expected later in the day. also German Buba President Nagel expected to speak.

In the bond market, The yield on US 10-year Treasuries up two basis points at 3.49%.

Germany’s 10-year yield was up four basis points to 2.31%.

Britain’s 10-year yield was up three basis points to 3.81%.
