Retail sales in Slovakia shrank 5.4% Y/Y in September 2023, slipping further from a 2.1% decrease in the previous month.
The Czech unemployment rate went down to 3.5% in October 2023 from 3.6% in September, missing the market forecasts of 3.6%.
Retail sales in Hungary declined 7.3% Y/Y in September 2023, following a 7.1% drop in the previous month.
Retail sales in Romania grew 0.7% Y/Y in September 2023, maintaining the same pace as the revised figure from the previous month.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 ( STOXX ) drops 0.08%, as insurance stocks lead losses while retail stocks added.
In the bond market, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was up 2 basis points at 4.56%.
Germany's 10-year yield was down 4 basis points to 2.63%.
U.K.'s 10-year yield was down 4 basis points to 4.23%.
