London -0.31% UK inflation rate falls to 10.1% in March, higher than expected

Eurozone February current account balance €24.3B vs €17.0B prior

The pan-European Stoxx 600 edged 0.29% lower ,  as investors digest inflation data and mixed signals from U.S. Federal Reserve officials on the trajectory of interest rate hikes. Tech stocks kept falling and mining were also down despite recent gains off the back of Chinese economic data.

In the bond market, The yield on US 10-year Treasuries was up five basis point to 3.62%.

Germany’s 10-year yield was up four basis point to 2.51%.

Britain’s 10-year yield was up eight basis points to 3.83%.
