TM - European passenger car registrations down 3.3% in December
European car registrations declined 3.3% in December to 1,031,070 units and -23.7% to 9.9M for FY2020, followed by 12% decline in November, due COVID?19 pandemic.Italy -14.9% and France -11.8% while Germany posted a solid gain of 9.9% and Spain’s performance remained stable for the month.Among the the EU's largest markets, Spain posted the sharpest drop 32.3% in 2020, followed closely by Italy ?27.9%, France -25.5% and Germany ?19.1%.In December registration up 9.7% for Volkswagen (VWAGY), +2.9% for PSA Group (PEUGF), -13% for Renault (RNSDF). -2.4% for Hyundai (HYMLF), -6.2% for BMW (BMWYY), -14.6% for Daimler (DMLRY), +9.3% for FCA, +21.9% for Toyota (TM), -10.8% for Honda (HMC) and -7.3 for Volvo (VWAGY)
