FLIY - European stocks open lower as investors look for direction

The pan-European Stoxx 600 edged - 0.09% lower with most sectors trading in negative territory. Tech stocks led losses, followed by household goods which were down. Minor gains were led by oil and gas stocks.

In the bond market, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was down 1 basis point to 3.80%.

Germany's 10-year yield was up 1 basis point to 2.45%.

U.K.'s 10-year yield was up 4 basis points to 4.29%.
