Plugin electric car sales as of end March 2024
Global plugin electric car sales were 830,000 in March 2024, up ??3% on March 2023 sales. Global plugin electric car market share in March was 13%, and 14% YTD.
China plugin electric car sales were 743,000 in March 2024, up 29% on March 2023 sales. Plugin electric car market share in China for March was 43%, and 39% YTD.
Europe plugin electric car sales were 202,000 in March 2024, up 10% YoY, reaching 20% market share and 20% YTD. Norway reached 91.5% share, Sweden 58.1% , Netherlands 35% (not updated this month), Germany 18% , France 27.9% , and UK 22.9% in March 2024....
