RE - Everest Re to rebrand corporate name stock ticker

Everest Re Group, Ltd. ( NYSE: RE ) said Thursday it will change its corporate name to Everest Group, Ltd. and trade under the new ticker symbol EG starting July 10.
The name and stock ticker change reflects "the evolution of our value proposition, built on five decades of reinsurance leadership and an expanding presence in the global primary insurance market,” said Everest President and CEO Juan C. Andrade.
At the same time, the reinsurer rolled out a new corporate website . The rebranding comes after the company last November unveiled a new logo and visual identity.
