The ~$230M-sized iShares MSCI Malaysia ETF ( EWM ), which covers around 30 mid- and large-cap stocks (although over 90% of the portfolio comprises stocks from the latter) from the Malaysian markets, has experienced quite an underwhelming year so far. During a period when global stocks are up by nearly 13% and emerging markets have fared even better, EWM has only nudged ahead by a little over 2%....
