XPON - Expion360 stock pops 69% after launching new portable accessories for its batteries

Shares of Expion360 ( NASDAQ: XPON ) rose as much as 69% on Thursday after the company launched new portable accessories which can be used on its batteries.

The company on Wednesday after the bell announced the launch of AURA POWERCAP 600 and AURA POWERCAP 800.

The accessories will be able to transform Expion's Li-ion batteries into a portable 600-watt or 800-watt powerpack, the company said.

Expion360 has begun taking pre-orders and expects to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2023.

The company has also submitted patent applications to cover the AURA's unique design and functionality.
