FG - F&G Annuities & Life announces $25M stock buyback program

• F&G Annuities & Life ( NYSE: FG ) said Tuesday its board approved a new three-year share repurchase program , effective March 21, of up to $25M of its stock.
• "As we have executed on our business plan to double assets under management and EPS by expanding our business into new channels of distribution in advance of our original target timeframe, the market has been slow to recognize the value that has been created," said CEO Chris Blunt.
• "As a result, our board authorized a $25M repurchase program to take advantage of our shares currently trading at a significant discount to intrinsic value," he added.
• Earlier, the insurer reported mixed Q4 results .
