U.S. Natural Gas Consumption
Source: US Energy Information Administration 'EIA'
Unless you are new to my writing, you've seen this graph before. And frankly you are going to see it again, and again. This is because I want to emphasize the consistency and growth of natural gas consumption in the U.S. Even during the Great Recession and the 2015 oil price crash, natural gas consumption increased. Likewise, demand shouldn’t see an appreciable decrease due to COVID-19 shut-downs. This is because the primary uses of natural gas are for the production of electricity, heating, and cooking.
